Telescope for sale
When looking for a telescope for sale make sure you know at least the basics of telescopes.
One of the most important things to do when looking for a telescope for sale is to read reviews. These hopefully will be from people who have had some hands on experience with the telescope you are thinking about. Always buy brand name telescopes. The cheaper telescopes in department stores have horrible optics and usually hurt ones interest in astronomy. Who is the telescope for? If it is for a child 15 or younger a smaller telescope would be best.
Casual viewing, if it is for an adult that plans to go out occasionally a 90mm refractor or maksutov would be best.
Serious observer. For the person who wants to really get into astronomy a more advanced telescope is needed. A 150mm to 200mm reflector or 100mm refractor is the best choice.
For the advanced it really is up to does it need to be portable? If it doesn’t then bigger is better but if it does a Schmidt-cassegrain are good.
