Protecting your telescope and your accessories with a telescope case.
Whether you have an orion, meade or bushnell it is always a good idea to spend a little bit of extra money on a good telescope case. When I got my first telescope it was a present from my parents, it didn’t come with a case. I didn’t think about getting a case but I was always paranoid when transporting it. When you have invested so much money into something you love it’s a good idea to protect it. Just like buying a car alarm for your car.
There are cases just not for telescopes but for accessory also. They keep all your eyepieces and filters organized. The picture bellow is of a orion accessory case. But you can get them from meade and bushnell aswell.
No doubt you have already figured out there are many different kinds of cases. Some made of aluminum and some soft padded cases. For your accessories get
a hard case with foam. This type of case will add the best protection. For you telescope case you can go either way, it wont really matter. I generally stick with a good soft padded case because it is easier to carry.
Bottom line…. Get a telescope case! You wont regret it. If you get a good one it will last you the life of your telescope.
