Solar Filter
To view the sun with a telescope or binoculars you must have a solar filter.
Because telescopes gather light if you turn your telescope at the sun you will damage your telescope and your eyes. But with filters you can enjoy the sites of the sun. Viewing the sunspots, the glowing vapor clouds.
The filters proved contrast to supply a more natural color – yellow-orange. The glass is normally machine polished and coated with a nickel chromium stainless steel alloy. Unlike neutral density filters these only allow a fraction of incoming light and stopping the harmful ultraviolet and infrared radiation.
The filter is installed easily. It simply slips over the front end of your telescope or binocular. Many companies make solar filters, don’t be cheap on these it is what protects you.
