Solar Filter
To view the sun with a telescope or binoculars you must have a solar filter.
Because telescopes gather light if you turn your telescope at the sun you will damage your telescope and your eyes. But with filters you can enjoy the sites of the sun. Viewing the sunspots, the glowing vapor clouds.
