The 7 element system gives you an apparent field of 40° at 24mm. The lenses are multi-coated which provides maximum light transmission and a excellent image contrast. These eyepieces produce minimal internal reflection. The Meade series 4000 zoom eyepieces are made to be also comfortably by people with wearing eyeglasses. This is done by having a high-eye point optics and a foldable rubber eyecup. The chrome parts of these are threaded to accept filters.
