LXD75 meade telescope review.
The lxd75 is a lone of high very high quality telescopes. On a equatorial type mount all lxd75 ’s come with the Go-To (autostar) feature. This telescope model includes Schmidt-newtonians, Schmidt cassegrains, achromatic and a Newtonian reflector.
The optical tube has been much improved over the lxd55. The stats are the follow..
8” f/10 on the Schmidt-newtonians, Schmidt-cassegrains and the achromatie refractor models. The Newtonian reflector is 6” f/5.
The autostar suite comes as standard equipment with the meade lxd75 telescopes.
People have had the most luck with the autostar when they do a 3 star alignment. The autostar feature on this mount is getting some good reviews. The Triod it self is pretty durable.
