Celestron spotting scopes
Whether your birding, nature study or scenic terrestrial viewing, a good celestron spotting scopes is a excellent choice for these activities.
Celestron has about a dozen different high quality well priced scopes. My personal favorite is the ULTIMA type.
Dont overlook a spotting scope and think only about binoculars for distance viewing. Spotting scopes can have a much higher magnification and are very portable. Normal magnification ranges of binoculars is something like 50x, where as for example the celestron ULTIMA 100 is 66x.
With the ability of allowing attachments you can have different eyepieces, allowing you to change your magnification. Now most spotting scopes allow for a special attachment option for a camera. Photographers and bird watchers use a good spotting scope with a camera option..
Most require any common photo-type tripod. The bigger the aperture obvious the more light it gathers good for low light performance and brighter images. Coatings to the lens enhances image fidelity. The best way to go is fully or multi-coated but a fully coated is good enough.
