Autostar
meade telescopes can be a great entry level telescope. Autostar meade makes a large line of telescopes for people at all different level of skill.
meade telescopes puts out a special line of scopes called the autostar a "go to" telescope line.
A computer controlled telescope mount some with a gps. With a hand held controller you browse to an object you would like to see. With a 4 speed motor the mount moves to where it thinks the object is. Even with lining it up before using it isn’t even close to 100% accurate more like 70-80% and in the 90’s on a good night..Wireless or plugged in. The meade telescopes can be powered by several different power sources. The 3 different way it may be powered is by batteries, normal power cord or with the car adapter. The telescope can stay powered to up to 20 hours with batteries so I would recommend buying some rechargeable batteries. The power cords are relatively long the car adapter cord being 30 feet. Although the “go to” feature is fun and easy. For the beginner I wouldn’t recommend one. You should first start by learning how to locate objects on your own or you can become confused when the “go to” telescope doesn’t find its mark dead on
