The bushnell north star "go to" telescope.
The bushnell north star telescopes are bushnell’s answer to mead’s autostar telescopes.
They are computer controlled telescope mounts with a database complete with 20,000 objects. Using the telescopes hand held unit you simply enter in an object you would like to view and the telescopes mount does the rest. The bushnell north star feature also is able to lock onto a object. Once locked on, the telescope mount will rotate with the object as the earth turns. The hand held unit supplies a LCD read out. The LCD screen is a two-line LCD with a red back lit feature to reduce the lose of night vision.
Some of the bushnell telescopes also have a red dot finder scope to help you manually find your object. The RVO “Real Voice output)” Is a feature that that bushnell telescopes with north star have. RVO is verbal instructions to help you align your telescope north so that the “go to” feature works properly.
